Can I book with my friend?

Yes! If you want to save money by sharing a bed, you can book a private room and then select the “add on” option to add your friend/partner. If you would like your own bed, we encourage you to both book a bed in one of the shared rooms.

I booked a shared room, will I be with someone who is the same gender?

Yes. We want all of our guests to feel comfortable. If you are booking a shared room and you are not booking it with a friend, please book the Zinc Room if you are male and the Copper Room if you are female.

If I am flying in from out of town, will there be transportation from the airport?

We are not able to offer transportation at this time.

Do I have to attend every activity that is planned?

While we would love you to enjoy all that we are offering, we understand that you may need some quiet time to yourself. Most of the activities don’t require us to know in advance, but there may be some activities that we will plan around head count. We will ask you about these prior to the event starting.

I’m pretty introverted - is this a good fit for me?

Yes! A lot of fantasy and book lovers are introverted. Everyone is welcome here, and there will be downtime and quiet places to rest and recharge your social battery whenever you need.

Do I have to pay everything up front?

Only a 10% non-refundable deposit is required up front. The remainder of your balance is due 2 months before the event start date. You will receive an email link after booking to complete the payment.

What happens if I book the stay and then cannot make it?

We understand that sometimes life can be outside of our control. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. If you let us know before the final payment deadline (2 months before the retreat’s start date), we will refund everything you have paid except your 10% non-refundable deposit. If you cancel your retreat after the final payment deadline (2 months before the retreat’s start date), your refund amount will depend on whether we can rebook your room.

I want to come but the rooms are full! Is there a waitlist?

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Since we will be preparing the food in the kitchen on-site, we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment. We will ask about dietary preferences and restrictions in your Welcome Email.
